OUR MISSION
Naz Thrift exists to bring new life and restoration to clothing, people, and the streets of Columbus. We sell curated vintage and re-worked clothing.
As a way of bringing restoration to the people of Columbus, 10% of all of our profits go directly to the Columbus Dream Center, a nonprofit organization in the Short North dedicated to providing meals, showers, laundry, after school programs and more to people in need in our city.
WHY "NAZ THRIFT"?
The Name Naz Thrift comes from the word Nazareth.
“'Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?' Nathanael asked. 'Come and see,' said Philip."
John 1:46 NIV
Jesus, the best thing to ever happen to the world, came from an unlikely place called Nazareth. John 1:46 is a pretty funny verse, if you think about it.
While most people shy away from used clothing because they either don't want to sift through the discarded items or don't want to take the time to do so, there are some hidden gems there.
I am so glad that God chooses to use the discarded, cast-out, not-so-promising looking places, and more importantly people to do beautiful, beautiful things. My life and this business are both testaments to that!
My prayer is that this store sells good things to people, but even more so that it tells every person who encounters it about the best thing: Jesus Christ!
