At Evergreen Dental, Dr. Ryan Chou leads our team. He has years of experience in dental implants and holds a Fellowship of Dental Implantology from the University of Miami and a Post Graduate Diploma from Charles Sturt University. He specializes in oral surgery and dental implants and prefers using Straumann Roxolid SLActive implants for their proven long-term success.

You may think our fees are high due to the quality of care we provide. However, you’ll be surprised to find that our costs are often lower than those at other practices. At Evergreen Dental, we focus on high-quality, efficient care. This helps us keep dental implant prices affordable.

The cost of a dental implant in Chatswood can vary. It depends on several factors, like the surgeon’s experience, the need for tooth removal, or any required bone grafts. At Evergreen Dental, we offer clear pricing. We want you to understand all the costs involved before you start treatment.

Dental Implant Prices in Chatswood

Dental implant prices in Chatswood usually range from $3,500 to $6,000 per implant. This includes the implant, surgery, and restoration. If you need extra procedures, like bone grafting or a sinus lift, these can add extra costs. Bone grafting, for example, can cost anywhere from $500 to $2,500.

At Evergreen Dental, we aim to keep prices clear and upfront. We also offer payment plans through Zip Money, making implants more affordable.

Why Choose Dental Implants?

Dental implants are becoming a popular option for missing teeth. They function just like natural teeth. You can chew, speak, and smile normally. Unlike dentures, implants help preserve the jawbone. This prevents bone loss that can happen after tooth loss. Dentures and bridges cannot provide this benefit.

Implants also protect your surrounding teeth. They help preserve the jawbone, which prevents your teeth from shifting. Without a replacement, surrounding teeth may move. This can cause gaps that trap food and bacteria, leading to tooth decay.

The Process

At Evergreen Dental, we follow a clear four-step process for dental implants. We explain the entire process during your first consultation. We also provide a treatment plan and cost estimate.

Initial Consultation

During your consultation, we will examine your teeth and gums. We will take X-rays or CT scans and discuss any additional work that may be needed. If you require bone grafting or tooth removal, these steps will be included in your treatment plan. After gathering all the information, we will give you a detailed treatment plan and cost estimate.

Implant Surgery

We will place the implant into your jawbone. The procedure is precise and quick. It is done under local anesthesia, so it is pain-free. A healing cap or abutment is placed on the implant. The healing cap will stay below the gums, while the abutment will be visible above the gum line.

Healing

After the implant is placed, the bone will grow around it. This is called osseointegration, and it usually takes 6 to 12 weeks. We use Straumann SLActive Roxolid implants. These implants are designed to promote bone growth and improve healing.

Collar and Abutment

Once the bone has fused with the implant, we will place the abutment. This will separate the gum tissue from the implant. The abutment may be placed during the initial surgery or later. After this, you will see a small metal cap above the gum line, which helps the gums heal around the implant.

Restoration

After healing, a permanent crown will be placed on the abutment. If you already have a dentist, they can take care of this step. If not, we can help with it at Evergreen Dental. With proper care, your dental implants can last a lifetime, though you may need to replace the crown due to normal wear over time.
